Why the site name rarely appears

Platforms sell tokens through payment processors such as Epoch and Segpay, or through their operating company (Technius Ltd for Stripchat, Multi Media, LLC for Chaturbate). The processor’s or company’s name is what your bank prints. That is not a promise of discretion: your bank, the processor and the platform all see the transaction, and descriptor lists change over time.

How to check before you spend more

1. Make one small first purchase and look at how it appears in your banking app.
2. Use a card or method you are comfortable seeing on your statement; Stripchat also lists PayPal and paysafecard in some countries, and both platforms accept cryptocurrency.
3. Keep the receipt email; it is your proof if you need to dispute a charge.

Stopping repeat charges

• Chaturbate: auto refill (card only) tops up at 10% of your last purchase; Supporter and fan clubs renew monthly until you cancel in My Profile, under Memberships.
• Stripchat: Balance Auto-Refill can charge up to four times in 24 hours with cards and PayPal; switch it off in Settings and Privacy, and cancel Ultimate separately.

If you see a charge you do not recognize

First check whether it matches one of the descriptors above. If it does and it is yours, contact the platform: Chaturbate gives 30 days to report billing errors and lists billing phone lines; Stripchat asks for show complaints within 48 hours. If the charge is genuinely not yours, contact your bank. Note that Stripchat’s terms add a $100 fee for chargebacks filed without good faith.
