Before you delete: three things to do
- Deal with your tokens. The privacy policy says deleting your data forfeits tokens, purchases and subscriptions. The terms let members withdraw unused deposits through support, minus third-party charges, so ask first if you have a balance.
- Cancel memberships. Supporter and fan clubs renew automatically. Cancel them in My Profile, under Memberships.
- Download your data if you want a copy. The privacy policy offers a self-service tool to receive a copy of your personal data.
Option 1: disable the account
- Log in on the website.
- Scroll to the bottom of the homepage and click Disable Account (it only appears when you are logged in).
- Confirm. You lose access to non-public areas and to any content in your account.
Support can reactivate a disabled account, but accounts disabled for more than 120 days cannot be reactivated.
Option 2: delete your personal data
For permanent deletion, the privacy policy points to the platform’s deletion tool. You can also contact the Data Protection Officer at 23615 El Toro Road #X344, Lake Forest, CA 92630, USA. If your account is restricted at the time (suspended, banned or limited), the policy says deletion may be converted into a permanent ban, with minimal records kept.
What Chaturbate keeps after deletion
| Data | What the privacy policy says |
|---|---|
| Username | Kept to prevent abuse and impersonation |
| Fraud-prevention data (IP, device, access) | Shared with third-party services and retained indefinitely |
| Age-record documents (US 2257 rules) | Kept as required by those rules |
| Age-verification documents and biometric data | Kept for seven years, as the policy describes US federal law |
The policy has a section for California residents. We found no section setting out UK or EU data rights specifically, so if you are in the UK you can still write to the privacy contact and cite UK GDPR.
Remember: deleting your account does not remove past charges from your bank statement, and anything another user recorded is outside Chaturbate’s deletion process.

A disabled account can be reactivated through support, but not after 120 days. Data deleted with the deletion tool is gone, apart from what the policy says is retained.
Do I get my tokens back when I delete my account?
No. The privacy policy says tokens are forfeited. Ask support about withdrawing an unused deposit before you delete.
Does deleting my account cancel my Supporter membership?
Cancel it yourself first in My Profile, under Memberships, to be sure. You get an email confirming the end date.
Does Chaturbate keep my username?
Yes. The privacy policy says the username is retained to prevent abuse and impersonation.
