What can and cannot be refunded

There is an apparent tension in Chaturbate’s documents: the terms let members withdraw unused deposits, while the privacy policy says deleting your data forfeits tokens. If you have a balance, contact support before you delete anything.

How to ask for a refund

  1. Billing problem (double charge, a charge you do not recognize): call billing support on 1-877-338-7068 or (800) 380-5793 in the US, +44 (0) 1227 647120 in the UK, or +1 (954) 453-4141 internationally.
  2. Problem with a performer: open a support ticket with your username, the performer’s username, the date and time, and a short description.
  3. Paid through Epoch? The billing support page has a separate Epoch route; your statement shows EPOCH.COM.
  4. Keep screenshots of your token history and of the charge on your statement.

Watch the clock: the terms say a charge you do not dispute within 30 days of it first appearing on your statement is deemed accepted, including for inquiries made by your card issuer.

What about a chargeback?

A chargeback means asking your bank to reverse the payment. Chaturbate’s terms do not set out a specific penalty for ordinary members who file one. They do let the platform limit transactions based on the number of refund requests and suspend or terminate access for any reason. In practice, a chargeback is a last resort: contact billing support first, and note the 30-day window above.

How to avoid needing a refund

  • Read the private-show pop-up: it shows the rate per minute and the minimum minutes before you accept.
  • Keep auto refill off, and cancel fan clubs you no longer use; they renew monthly.
  • Check your statement every month.
