Our arithmetic. $0.08 and $20.99 for 200 tokens are official Chaturbate figures; the 100-token pack at $10.99 is reported by independent trackers. The rates 6, 12–18, 30–42, 60–72 and 90+ are the bands Chaturbate uses in its own navigation, not a price list.
Watch out for the minimum
According to Chaturbate’s support pages, the pop-up that starts a private show shows three things: the tokens per minute, the minimum number of minutes and whether you get a recording. The minimum multiplies your opening cost: 60 tokens a minute with a 5-minute minimum is 300 tokens, about $31.48, before anything happens.
Read the pop-up first. Support also suggests talking to the broadcaster before starting. If the rate or minimum is not what you expected, close it: nothing is charged until you confirm.
Recordings and spy shows
- Recording: under the terms, private shows are recorded by default and the recording goes to the buyer, unless the performer turns it off.
- Spy shows: you can watch someone else’s private show for a set rate per minute; some performers require a minimum token balance. Chaturbate does not publish a standard spy rate.
A simple way to budget
Decide minutes first, not tokens. Ten minutes at 30 tokens a minute is 300 tokens, about $31.48 at the 200-token price. Buy only that, and keep auto refill off. Tokens spent on shows are not refunded, so a budget is your only safeguard. See Chaturbate refunds.
